Dalaman is an area of natural beauty. If you are in the area, make sure you visit the Dalyan (Köycegiz). You enjoy the Kaunos archeologist site and see the carved tombs in the Limestone mountain while cruising along the Dalyan river when you reach the shore, walk on Iztuzu Beach. The area is world's 6th most famous beach, it is 6 km long and enjoy the sea turtles (caretta-carrettas). The beach is a sanctuary for sea turtles. The Mediterranean beaches in this area are 10km long with white sand, crystal clear waters, and pine covered slopes. Medicinal, sulfur baths, rafting on Dalaman river, camping or diving are only few of the possibilities in the Dalaman area.
