SoÄŸgut is a small unspoilt fishing village on the Loryma peninsula in the south-west corner of Turkey. There are three restaurants along the waterfront serving fish fresh from the sea & traditional Turkish dishes. The village also has a post office & shops selling all necessary supplies. SoÄŸgut provides mooring facilities for visiting boats and there is easy bathing from many spots along the coast in warm, clear unpolluted water. In the bay's crystal clear waters lie hundreds of fragments of amphorae over 2000 years old.
SoÄŸgut is approximately 45 minutes from Marmaris & can be reached by local minibus services.
